According to the reports, the Commission has received 28 complaints, while today (30) is the deadline for complainants to submit detailed reports supporting their allegations.
Commission Secretary D.V. Bandulasena said statements have already been obtained from more than 100 individuals, including several former Ministry Secretaries and other senior government officials.
The Commission was appointed by Anura Kumara Dissanayake to conduct a comprehensive investigation into coal-related transactions in Sri Lanka.
The Commission is chaired by Gihan Kulatunga, with Adithya Patabendige and Sanjeewa Somaratne serving as members.
