The Poson Zone features a replica depicting the arrival of Arahant Mahinda Thera in Sri Lanka, a Poson lantern exhibition, a devotional music concert, and several dansals offering free refreshments to devotees.
Among those present at the event were Western Province Governor Hanif Yusoof, Presidential Secretary Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake, Senior Additional Secretaries to the President Roshan Gamage, Additional Secretary to the President K.N.M. Kumarasinghe, President of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka, Senior Attorney-at-Law Rajeev Amarasuriya, President of the Sri Lanka Scout Association Ransiri Perera, and several other distinguished guests.
