Acting Director Dr. Kapila Kannangara stated that 52,068 dengue cases have been reported across the country so far this year.
He added that 18,227 infections were recorded in June alone, highlighting the continued rise in dengue cases and stressing the need for the public to actively eliminate mosquito breeding sites and support prevention efforts.
