According to the NWSDB, water supply will remain interrupted until 8:00 p.m. today (June 5) while repair work is carried out on the affected pipeline.
The disruption will affect residents and businesses in Moragasmulla, Rajagiriya, Nawala, Obeysekarapura, and all areas falling under the Kolonnawa Municipal Council.
The Board stated that the suspension is necessary to facilitate urgent repairs and restore normal water distribution as quickly as possible. Consumers in the affected areas have been advised to use available water supplies sparingly until services resume.
