The Sri Lankan rupee weakened slightly against the US dollar today, according to the latest daily exchange rates released by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
The buying rate of the US dollar was recorded at Rs. 326.75 on June 2, while the selling rate stood at Rs. 336.60.
In comparison, the dollar's selling rate on June 1 was Rs. 335.70, indicating an increase of 90 cents in today's selling rate.
The latest figures reflect a marginal rise in the cost of purchasing US dollars in the local foreign exchange market. Market participants continue to monitor currency movements amid ongoing economic and financial developments.
