The National Water Supply and Drainage Board has announced a 12-hour water cut in several المناطق today (April 9) due to a drop in water levels at the Labugama Water Treatment Plant and Kalatuwawa Water Treatment Plant.
According to the notice, the water supply will be suspended from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the following areas:
Mattegoda
Brahmanagama
Kirigampamunuwa
Deepangoda
Polgasowita Road
Areas from Kudamadhuwa up to the 342 bus route junction
From Pubudu Mawatha to the 342 bus route junction
The water cut is being implemented as a precautionary measure to manage the reduced water levels in the reservoirs supplying these areas.
Residents are advised to store sufficient water in advance and use it sparingly during the interruption period.
