The operation was conducted by a team from the Seeduwa Police Station. The manager of the establishment and seven women, who were present for sex work, were taken into custody.
The manager is a 46-year-old male resident of the Batapola area. The seven women, aged between 22 and 39, are residents of Kadana, Gampaha, Ginigathena, Matale, Kurunegala, Badulla, and Nawalapitiya.
The Seeduwa Police are continuing investigations into the matter.
