Sallay was reportedly in the custody of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) at the time he fell ill. He was admitted to hospital yesterday (24) after his condition was brought to the attention of authorities.
Following his production before a Magistrate, he was examined and later referred to a doctor, who recommended immediate hospitalization.
