She said the final stages of the result preparation process are now nearing completion and officials are working to ensure that students receive their results ahead of the festive season. According to her, special arrangements have been made to avoid delays as a large number of students are awaiting the results to plan their university admissions and future studies.

The Commissioner General noted that the Department has given priority to completing the A/L results first, while at the same time continuing work related to the G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) examination. She confirmed that paper marking for the O/L examination has already begun and is progressing according to schedule.

She further said that the practical examinations for the O/L candidates are scheduled to be conducted in the latter part of April, after which the Department expects to complete the remaining evaluation work without delay.

Officials said the aim is to release the O/L results soon after the practical tests are completed so that students will not face unnecessary waiting periods.

The Examinations Department said it has taken steps to streamline its operations this year to ensure that both A/L and O/L results are released within the planned timeframes despite the heavy workload.

The Commissioner General assured that all procedures are being carried out carefully to maintain accuracy while also meeting the expected deadlines.
