The United Arab Emirates temporarily closed its airspace as a precaution following a new wave of missile and drone attacks launched by Iran. Authorities said the move was taken to ensure the safety of civilian flights, airline crews, and the country’s national territory.

Officials confirmed that air defense systems and security agencies were placed on high alert while monitoring the situation. Several flights were delayed or rerouted during the temporary closure.

The UAE government stated that the measure was precautionary and that airspace operations would resume once the security situation stabilizes.
