Applications called for Audit Service Commission

Applications have been called from suitably qualified individuals to fill forthcoming vacancies in the post of Member of the Audit Service Commission, in terms of Article 41B of the Constitution of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.

Accordingly, under Article 153A of the Constitution, the Constitutional Council will recommend suitable candidates to the President for appointment to the Audit Service Commission from the following categories:

Two retired officers of the Auditor-General’s Department who have held office as Deputy Auditor-General or above;

A retired judge of the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal, or High Court of Sri Lanka; and A retired Class I officer of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service.

Applications must be submitted using the prescribed application form available on the official website of the Parliament of Sri Lanka under the quick link titled “Appointment to the post of Member of the Audit Service Commission”.

Duly completed applications should be sent to the Acting Secretary-General to the Constitutional Council, Constitutional Council Office, Parliament of Sri Lanka, Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte, on or before February 20, 2026, either by registered post or via email to [[email protected]]
