Colombo Municipal Council (CMC) Mayor Mrs. Balthasar visited the Hunupitiya Gangaramaya Temple to pay homage to the sacred relics of lord Buddha.
The Mayor arrived at the temple premises this morning and engaged in religious observances in keeping with Buddhist traditions.
She paid floral tributes and received blessings from members of the Maha Sangha.
