Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation General Limited has announced that external medical treatment benefits will be provided to students injured due to natural disasters under the Suraksha Sisu Insurance Programme.
Although not included in the original agreement, the insurer has approved coverage of up to Rs. 20,000 for treatment costs, purchase of medicines and examination fees directly related to accidents caused by floods or cyclones during the period from November 26 to December 31, 2025.
