The second phase of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 Trophy Tour – Sri Lanka segment will commence on 30 January, bringing the iconic trophy to key locations in the Central Province.

The trophy is scheduled to arrive in Kandy, where photo opportunities will take place at Kandy Lake, near the Queen’s Hotel, and at the Sri Dalada Maligawa, offering fans a chance to witness the symbol of cricket’s premier T20 tournament.

As part of the day’s programme, the trophy will be showcased during a city tour before being placed on public display at the Kandy City Centre from late morning until the afternoon.

Later in the evening, the trophy will move to Pallekele, where a cultural performance will be held at the PICS grounds. The tour will culminate with a special trophy display at the PICS, Pallekele Stadium during the first T20 International match between Sri Lanka and England.

The Sri Lanka leg of the trophy tour aims to engage fans nationwide and build excitement ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.
