A woman was killed with a sharp weapon in the Radaliyadda area of Bibila yesterday (28) afternoon, police said.
The victim, a 40-year-old resident of the area, was allegedly attacked following a dispute with her lover. After the incident, the suspect is reported to have slit his own throat.
The injured suspect is currently receiving treatment at the Bibila Hospital under police protection.
Bibila Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
