The Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court today (28) ordered that former Presidential Secretary Saman Ekanayake be remanded until February 11 after he appeared before court as a suspect in a case related to former President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
The order was issued when Ekanayake appeared before the court this afternoon in connection with a case concerning former President Wickremesinghe’s visit to London.
Former President Ranil Wickremesinghe also appeared before the Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court today in relation to the case filed under the Public Property Act.
