The Cabinet has decided to implement the proposed education reforms for Grade 6 from 2027 instead of 2026, the Cabinet Spokesperson said.
The decision allows additional time to further review the proposed reforms to the Grade 6 English curriculum, following concerns raised regarding the content and the implementation process.
Meanwhile, the Cabinet has also decided that the existing Grade 1 module will continue without any changes.
