Restoring connectivity - the first Bailey Bridge under Indian Assistance Package for Post-Ditwah Reconstruction opened for traffic.
High Commissioner Santosh Jha along with Hon. Deputy Minister of Transport Dr. Prasanna Gunasena and Hon. Deputy Minister of Education and Higher Education, Dr. Madhura Senevirathne, inaugurated a 100 ft bailey bridge constructed by ADGPI - Indian Army, on B-492 Highway along the Kandy–Ragala Road, restoring a vital road link between Sri Lanka’s Central Province and Uva Province.
