Sri Lanka has received a donation of ten high-capacity water treatment units from the Federative Republic of Brazil to support flood and disaster relief efforts following Ditwah cyclone

he official handover of the relevant documents took place today, with the Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Brazil in Colombo, Ms. Monica Maria Meirelles Nasser, handing over the documents on behalf of the Brazilian Government.

The Government of Sri Lanka expressed its gratitude for the timely assistance, stating that the water treatment units will be crucial in providing safe drinking water to communities affected by the disaster.
