Former Minister Johnston Fernando and his youngest son, who were arrested by the Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) today (05), were remanded until January 9 after being produced before the Wattala Magistrate’s Court.
The arrests were made in connection with an ongoing investigation, according to police. The court issued the remand order following their production before the Magistrate earlier today.
Further investigations are continuing under the direction of the Financial Crimes Investigation Division.
