Online membership registration for the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) will commence from today, the Ministry of Labour announced.
The new initiative is set to be officially launched at a ceremony scheduled to be held at the Ministry of Labour at 9.00 a.m. today.
Minister of Labour Anil Jayantha Fernando and Deputy Minister Mahinda Jayasinghe are expected to attend the launch event.
According to the Ministry, the introduction of online EPF membership registration aims to simplify the registration process, improve efficiency, and provide greater convenience for employees and employers across the country.
