International R&B star Ne-Yo has apologised to his Sri Lankan fans following the abrupt cancellation of his Colombo concert.
In a social media post, Ne-Yo said he had been “looking forward to rocking out” with his Sri Lankan fanbase but was unable to perform due to “unforeseen circumstances.” He offered his “deepest apologies” and expressed hope to return to Sri Lanka soon. “Let’s try this again soon. All love and respect,” he added.
The concert, scheduled for December 28, was cancelled at the last minute, prompting public outrage and media reports of fraud complaints filed against the organisers.
