Ragama Police have recovered a T-56 firearm along with a stock of ammunition during a search conducted last night (23).
Police officers searched a suspicious car parked in a deserted area in Pahalawatte, Ragama, where they discovered the T-56 firearm and two magazines loaded with ammunition.
Police said that further investigations are underway to arrest the suspects who had abandoned the vehicle with the firearm and ammunition at the location.
