The Ministry of Women and Child Affairs has initiated a post-disaster damage assessment to provide assistance to women and children affected by Cyclone ‘Ditwah’. The ministry has called on affected individuals to submit the required information by January 6, 2026.

Officials highlighted that all personal information submitted will be kept strictly confidential. They also warned that providing false information will lead to disqualification from receiving any government benefits or support.

For children under 18 years of age, the ministry stated that the information must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian. This assessment forms part of the government’s ongoing efforts to ensure timely and targeted relief for vulnerable groups impacted by the recent disaster.
