Eastern Railway services to Batticaloa resume from tomorrow

Resumption of train services on the Eastern Railway to Batticaloa - from 2025/12/24 It is planned to resume train services between Galoya - Batticaloa from 2025/12/24 as follows. Here,

1. For passengers travelling from Colombo Fort to Batticaloa, train No. 7083 departing from Colombo Fort Railway Station at 06.00 AM to Trincomalee has been scheduled to depart from Galoya Railway Station at 12.40 PM and then depart from Batticaloa at 12.40 PM (train No. 6011).

II. For passengers travelling from Batticaloa to Colombo Fort, the train (Train No. 6012) departing from Batticaloa at 05.00 a.m. has been scheduled to depart from Galoya Railway Station after the train travelling from Trincomalee to Colombo Fort arrives at Galoya Railway Station.
