A new Prevention of Terrorism Bill has been drafted by the Ministry of Home Affairs and National Relations to replace the existing Prevention of Terrorism Bill, and the draft Bill will be published on the website of the Ministry of Home Affairs and National Relations in three languages, Sinhala, Tamil and English.
The Ministry of Justice and National Relations has decided to seek further public comments on the said Bill, and therefore requests that comments and proposals in that regard be forwarded to the Ministry of Justice and National Relations, No. 19, Sri Sangharaja Mawatha, Colombo 10 or to [email protected] by 28th February 2026.
