During the 2025 progress review meeting, AASL outlined its ongoing short-term development activities at the airport passenger terminal, as well as proposed plans for 2026.
Ports Minister Karunathilake, during an observation tour of the airport, visited areas undergoing development and assured that all necessary facilities would be provided promptly to ensure the projects are completed efficiently, enhancing passenger experience and operational efficiency.
