According to the DMC, several areas in the Ududumbara region experienced exceptionally heavy rainfall. Rainfall measurements recorded include 308 mm in Ududumbara, 234 mm in Poppitiya, 221 mm in Nugathana, 218 mm in Kaikawala, and 178 mm in Pallewela.

Authorities continue to monitor the situation closely, as heavy rainfall may increase the risk of floods and landslides in vulnerable areas. Residents in high-risk locations have been advised to remain vigilant and follow instructions issued by local authorities.
