The Rebuilding Sri Lanka Fund, established to restore public life and rebuild the country following the devastation caused by Cyclone Dithwa, continues to receive daily contributions from local and foreign organizations, business leaders, and philanthropists.
In this regard, Swedish national Ms. V.P. Nackholm donated a sum of USD 33,000 on December 16. The contribution was credited directly to the fund through a bank transfer.
The receipt confirming the donation was formally handed over to Secretary to the President, Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake, at the Presidential Secretariat. Ms. K.J. Thamodari Premadasa was also present at the occasion.
