Former Member of Parliament and senior lawyer Wijedasa Rajapaksa is set to be appointed as the Senior Vice President of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP).
SLFP Chairman Nimal Siripala de Silva stated that the formal appointment will be made at the party’s upcoming Executive Council meeting.
In addition to this new role, Wijedasa Rajapaksa has also been appointed as the Colombo District Leader and Maharagama Electoral Organizer of the SLFP.
