A consignment of 13 metric tons of relief aid from the Government of Pakistan arrived at the Katunayake Airport on the afternoon of December 11 to support Sri Lankans affected by the recent disaster situation.

According to airport officials, the shipment included 3,000 mosquito nets, 2,000 air mattresses, 1,000 white bed sheets, and 100 mattresses, weighing a total of 13,961 kilograms.

The aid consignment was transported from Lahore, Pakistan, aboard SriLankan Airlines flight UL-154, which landed at the airport at 5.20 p.m. on December 11.
