Parliamentarian Gayantha Karunathilaka arrived before the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) this morning (11) to provide a statement regarding an ongoing investigation.
The inquiry relates to the controversial rental of a building in the Rajagiriya area to house the Ministry of Agriculture during the previous government. Karunathilaka, who served as a Cabinet Minister at the time, was summoned by the Commission to provide clarification on the matter.
