Applications for Phase 10 of the Interest-Free Student Loan Scheme, originally open from November 1 to November 30, 2025, have now been extended, the Ministry of Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education announced.
The extension has been granted to accommodate students who sat for the G.C.E. Advanced Level examinations in 2022, 2023, or 2024 as their first or second attempt, as well as candidates who re-sat for the exam in 2025. The Ministry stated that the decision was made considering the ongoing adverse weather conditions affecting many parts of the country.
Students can submit their applications online via the official portal: www.studentloans.mohe.gov.lk.
