Apple CEO Tim Cook said that the company will provide support for relief and reconstruction efforts in several Asian countries—including Sri Lanka—after days of severe flooding, landslides, and strong winds.
Cook said the storms that swept through Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Sri Lanka have devastated communities, adding that the company’s thoughts are with all those affected.
The extreme weather has claimed more than 1,300 lives across the region and displaced millions.
