The Department of Examinations has announced that the remaining subjects of the (GCE) Advanced Level and Ordinary Level examinations will be held in the first week of January 2026.
The Ministry of Education further stated that universities, national faculties of education, and vocational education institutions that were not affected by the recent disaster are scheduled to reopen on 8 December 2025.
Additionally, schools in provinces and districts that remain unaffected by the disaster are set to resume classes on 16 December 2025.
