The Maldives has announced relief assistance to Sri Lanka, offering USD 50,000 and 25,000 cases of tuna cans, the Maldivian Foreign Ministry said.
The assistance is being provided in response to the widespread devastation caused by Cyclone Ditwah. The Maldivian government described the aid as a gesture of solidarity with its close neighbor and the people of Sri Lanka.
