An Indian rescue team arrived in Sri Lanka this morning (29) to assist in relief and rescue operations amid the ongoing severe weather across the country.
The team, flown in on an Indian aircraft, includes 80 members, comprising 76 men and four women, and is accompanied by four trained rescue dogs.
Equipped with specialized disaster-response tools, the team aims to support urgent search-and-rescue operations and provide immediate assistance to those affected by flooding, landslides, and other weather-related emergencies.
