The government has allocated Rs. 1.2 billion for disaster relief operations, officials confirmed.
President has also instructed all Government Agents, via the Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Home Affairs, to request any additional funds necessary to support emergency response efforts.
In addition, an online discussion between the President and all Government Agents is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. today to review the ongoing situation and coordinate relief measures.
