Foreign Minister Vijith Herath, in a message on X, conveyed condolences to the victims and their families, saying: "We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, the injured, and all those affected by this natural calamity. Sri Lanka stands in solidarity with the people of Vietnam and hopes for the swift restoration of normalcy."
The message highlights Sri Lanka’s commitment to international friendship and humanitarian support during natural disasters, said the importance of cooperation and compassion in times of crisis.
