The Examinations Department has lodged a complaint with the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) following reports that the Economics question paper for this year’s General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level examination was leaked prior to the exam.
The department stated that the Deputy Examinations Commissioner filed the complaint last week after multiple reports circulated on social media claiming that the paper had been leaked.
While the Examinations Department has conducted an internal review of these reports, it noted that no concrete evidence has yet emerged to confirm the alleged leak.
Nevertheless, the department emphasized that the complaint submitted to the CID seeks to initiate a formal investigation into the matter and take necessary action.
