Train services on the upcountry line remain limited today due to a landslide between Ohiya and Idalgashinna, the Railways Department confirmed. The disruption is affecting routes from Colombo to Nanu Oya and from Badulla to Bandrawela.
Trains scheduled to run from Colombo Fort to Badulla will be diverted to Nanu Oya, while services from Badulla to Colombo will operate via Nanu Oya to Colombo Fort.
Passengers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and follow updates issued by Sri Lanka Railways.
Railway crews are actively clearing debris caused by the landslide, which has temporarily halted normal operations along the upcountry line.
