Veteran radio presenter and journalist Chithra Kumari Kalubowila has passed away at the age of 68, family sources confirmed.
She joined to the Sri Lanka broadcasting corporation in 1979. She also served as Directress of the Sinhala Commercial Service at SLBC.
She was widely respected in Sri Lanka’s media industry for her decades-long contribution to radio broadcasting and journalism. Further details regarding her funeral arrangements are expected to be announced by the family.
