Former Minister Mervyn Silva appeared before the Colombo High Court today (17) and pleaded not guilty to charges filed by the Bribery Commission alleging that he had illegally acquired assets while serving as a Minister.
The case was taken up before Colombo High Court Judge Mohamed Mihal, where Silva, through his lawyer, entered a plea of not guilty to the allegations.
