Sri Lanka has entered into 70 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with countries across the world during the first year of the current government, Foreign Affairs Minister Vijitha Hearth told Parliament today.

Presenting the figures, the Minister said Sri Lanka concluded MoUs with 20 South Asian countries and 19 nations in East Asia. He added that agreements were also signed with 15 European and Western countries, along with four each from the Middle East, Latin America, and the Caribbean region.
