The 36th Il Maha Viru Commemoration is scheduled to take place today (13) at 3:30 p.m. at the Viharamahadevi Open Air Theatre in Colombo.
The event will be held under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and General Secretary of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP), Tilvin Silva.
This annual commemorative ceremony is organized by the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna to honor and remember the fallen heroes associated with the movement.
