Sri Lankan opener Pathum Nissanka has climbed to third place in the latest International Cricket Council (ICC) T20I batsmen rankings, moving up one spot from fourth.
Only India’s Abhishek Sharma and England’s Phil Salt are ranked ahead of him in the current list.
Meanwhile, Sri Lanka’s Kusal Perera has also made his mark, securing the 7th position among the world’s top T20I batsmen.
England captain Jos Buttler holds 4th place, while India’s Tilak Verma occupies 5th in the updated rankings.
