The 2025 General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (A/L) Examination commenced today (10) and will continue until December 5, the Department of Examinations announced.
At a media briefing, Commissioner General of Examinations Mrs. Indika Kumari Liyanage confirmed that the exams started on time and were conducted smoothly across all centers without any disruptions.
She added that, for the first time, the evaluation process is planned to begin before the examinations conclude, aiming to speed up result processing.
Mrs. Liyanage advised students to check their schedules carefully, arrive at their designated examination centers one hour early, be seated 30 minutes before the start, and carry their admit cards.
