The Police Special Task Force (STF) today (08) arrested three individuals in possession of a large quantity of heroin during a raid conducted in the Seenigama area of Galle, police said.
According to reports, STF officers seized more than 3 kilograms of heroin during the operation carried out early this morning.
Further investigations are underway to determine the source of the drugs and whether the suspects are linked to a larger trafficking network.
