Four French nationals were injured and hospitalized following an accident involving a luxury van on the Southern Expressway near the 35.5 km post in Dodangoda today (07).
According to police, the injured include two women and two men. The accident occurred when the luxury van, carrying a group of French nationals from Arugam Bay to the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake, collided with the rear of a lorry traveling ahead.
Police investigations have revealed that the accident was caused by the reckless driving of the van driver.
