The new National Action Plan on Care will look at both those who provide care and those who receive it.

According to officials, the plan aims to improve working conditions for care workers while ensuring that everyone has access to reliable, affordable, and high-quality care services.

The initiative is led by the Inter-Ministerial Social Care Working Group, co-chaired by the Ministries of Women and Child Affairs, Rural Development and Social Security, and Labour. Other ministries taking part include Finance, Education, Health, Foreign Employment, and Public Administration.
